Hope you aren't too badly hurt. I was nearly involved in an accident in the passenger seat yesterday thanks to a taxi driver. The road was going to one lane but the cheeky Barsteward thought he would stay in the lane he was in and be cheeky to try and cut across and avoid a line of traffic. I hope the driver appreciated the language and hand gestures out of the window next to his car.

So actually the near accident wasnt solely the fault of the taxi driver

As whoever was driving the car you was in knew the road was going to one lane and that the taxi would have to pull over yet left no room for him to go.

Full fault of the taxi driver for being cheeky enough to drive past about fifty cars on a busy road by waiting until the very last second to pull over.

    Insurance companies might think differently

Just because the taxi should/could have pulled in earlier your mate or whoever was driving should have anticipated that the road was running out.
