http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...e-to-the-championship-league-115875-21565943/ So if we are 'punching above our weight' Ian where does this leave the mighty Blackpool?
I would agree with him Seems the bookies agree too.... Blackpool finished higher than us last season didnt they...?
let the simpleton say what he so wishes. Just remember the old chinese proverb, "all empty cans make the most rattle" and that action speaks louder than words. Hope he comes to have to eat those comments. Time will tell.
RE: I would agree with him They did, but they shouldn't have. We had a much better squad than them last season, why did we finish below them Simon? Don't see that being the case this season.
RE: I would agree with him I hope youre right and we do finish higher than them as long as its not bottom 3) Dont really care what Blackpool do just be nice for us to hit 50 points before March. I just happen to tink that he makes a fair comment about a team thats narrowly avoided relegation the last 3 seasons and hasnt strengthened pre season.
RE: I would agree with him Blackpool have just more or less avoided relegation for the last 2 year's. They've heardly strengthened apart from the 'box office' signings of Jason Euell and Billy Clarke. Double standards?
RE: I would agree with him 10 points from 3rd bottom is more or less avoided relegation...? We struggled the last 3 seasons and without strengthening I dont see this season being any different, however confidence seems to be high at the moment so lets hope we get out of the traps quickly and dont tail off.
Is this the man that took Leicester down? You know, ex-Premier league club, had some great seasons under Martin O'Neill
Reading between the lines he is saying Blackpool are also punching above their weight - "I'm lucky my chief will give me a bonus if we stay up" tells you all you need to know about their ambitions. Anyway he's right - the squad is punching above it's weight as there is no depth. Beyond the first eleven the only "options" are the development squad.
Not only that... he also said 'don't rule out both Sheffield clubs going up'</p> Wednesday haven't got a cat in hell's chance of going up, Holloway is talking absolute rubbish </p>
I hate that Holloway bloke I have the recording of skys coverage of us winning play off final and Holloway does nothing but moan that we made the final. He knows nothing, won nothing, and with millions to spend at leicester managed to get relegated. He has a couple of farmer one liners, cos he was a joke spot on soccer am ended up on tv and is now an expert. Cant wait for him to take Blackpool down (while still making the time to talk to hells bells and pocketing blackpool fans money)
