The Daily Express kidnapped Madeline McCann. Hence the different photograph of her they have every day.
Live Buxton Opera House. Driving home in the snow was fun.</p> He's diammetrically opposite my viewpoint on a lot of things but the way he delivers his material is in a way that gets you laughing but also thinking about the way you think about things.</p>
Snow? Is Buxton in the Alps? Never seen him on owt but panel shows. But he's always seemed quite funny.
RE: Snow? Looked like it last night. It's in the High Peak area so assume it catches any bad weather that's about. </p> He was spot on, took the piss out of himself and his views as much as anything. Doesn't seem to have a lot of time for George Bush, religion and Bernard Manning. Think a few professional social conscience holders would have been confused with the way he ripped the piss out of the Daily Mail mindset about immigration but then called Muslim terrorists 'murdering beardy fckers'</p>
RE: 'murdering beardy fckers' Absolutely. You could tell some in the audience didn't know what to do at that point. He doesn't stand on ceremony, top bloke.
Saw him in a programme a while back where he learnt French and then performed his standup act...in French. Came across as a really decent bloke and also did a decent job of the French as well. Not sure he made me think about the way things think about things but he was funny. Not as funny as Big Ron learning French and commentating on a French league game in the same programme. Unsurprisingly, he was useless.
he mentioned that Did a Q & A session and someone asked him to tell a joke in French. Went on to say 'Big' Ron was a decent bloke - just from a different age with regards to language that's inappropriate now but Brigstocke didn't think for a moment he was a racist. Said Esther Rantzen was an absolute **** though.
