According to Mirror today, Lucketti is staying at Sheff Utd

    well we have two options of reaction to that Tina..

    a) if its true we can say "no bother he's past it anyhow"

    OR

    b) if its false and he comes we can say " Oh great a seasoned ex Prem player"

    so you see its no big thing either way, and by the signings so far I am quite excited for the new season. I think we will be nowhere near the relegation dog fight come the latter stages of the new coming season.

    when i saw kozluk he didnt appear to have a great amount of pace... n niether has lucketti so a pacey defender would be nice not that im picky or anything hehe

    Davey said that we needed pace at the back , thats why he got rid of Kay and Austin and kept Hecky and Reid.......Oh bugger!!!!!

    No seriously Linford Christie ran his fastest times when he was 35, mind you he was black and full of drugs(allegedly)

    positioning will only get you so far

    when the opposition are young and quick, positional awareness is ok but it wont get you to the ball first!!!!!!! (doh) (doh)

    probably too young but bobby moore didn,t have pace but he was one of the best centre halfs there has ever been,tony adams didn,t have pace!
