You can book season tickets now. http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10309~1307200,00.html
According to box offce you can't and this is just the kind of thing that pisses people off. how hard can it be for the person making decisions to make sure that ALL the relevent department's are giving out the same information?</p> Take the Liverpool game for example. The official site was giving out information and Don Rowing basically said he had no idea why such information was on the site and even worse, wasnt aware that it was.</p>
ST renewals haven't gone out yet So ST holders wishing to move seats take a back seat whilst jonny softcock newcomers take their pick ?</p> </p>
Depends who you listen to Box office told me that tickets go on sale NEXT Wednesday and that this was the same for both season ticket renewals and people wishing to buy a ticket for the first time. I asked whether there was any provision for existing season ticket holders to get priority in taking up empty seats near them for a free child place etc and was told no. All tickets go on sale NEXT Wednesday with existing season ticket holders having their current seat reserved until June 30.
Just phoned em up to ask and was told they are available now (to reserve). They don't have the paperwork etc.. but you can reserve your seats. Asked if I can come down this afternoon and have a quick look in the ground to pick out my seats and she said no problem. But make sure it's before 4pm as ground staff lock up then. Early finish in order then
RE: Depends who you listen to So how do you 'book' a ST now ?</p> I assume that folk are ringing up and asking for a ST, but they can't specify a seat if they are first timers.</p>
RE: ST renewals haven't gone out yet No ST holders don't get first pick of the non-ST seats - They do have the reserve rights on the seats they had last season. If you think about it - All current ST holders ain't ST holders any more. They were valid for 2007/08 season which has now ended
I have no idea unless a first timer can go in and specify an empty seat which will then have their name penciled in which reserves that seat for them for a week to so they can then have first choice on it next week. Yet again it is apparent that the information that has been given out is unclear, contradictory and confusing to customers.
Just phoned up again and reserved / paid for my seats. There's a £2 booking fee. Total £312 for myself and 7 year old son in East Stand Lower. I had a rough idea on what seats I wanted from where we sat at the last match. The seats I got were a row behind where we were. She did come back with a range of seats available in that area. Said I'd get a phone call when they get the ST's in and I have to take my son's birth certificate with me when I pick the books up. Job done.
Yes you can I went to box office yesterday as a season ticket holder, wanted to get a free seat for my daughter as I knew seat next to me was empty. I explained I wanted to be sure I got it before someone else bought it. They agreed and said I would just have to leave my payment details with them and so I did. My seat is renewed and my daughter has her ticket for the season too. Sorted
What's confusing about this? They have been available to non ST Holders since ST prices were announced. http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10309~1304433,00.html
what's confusing about it? Erm the fact that the box office staff told me personally that they went on sale NEXT wednesday. this was when I asked yesterday. website saying today. people actually selling the tickets saying next week. I'd call that confusing, wouldnt you?
RE: what's confusing about it? It would have to be you who was the only person to be given duff information. My bet is that you confused the poor lass. You certainly confuse me at times! I take it you didn't believe this news story from last week entitled 'First Day Demand Sky Rockets' then?! http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10309~1304433,00.html
I wasn't the only one to be given that information yesterday, two other people (i think) posted on here that they had been told the same. I phoned up and asked the clearest question possible. In fact this is how the converstation went. Me: "I'm an existing season ticket holder...." Her (interrupting): "you can renew from next wednesday" Me: "Thanks, but the thing is, i'm interested in taking up the free child place offer but obviously that will mean me moving seats to be with the child. Will season ticket holders be given a bit of time to select the empty seats befor the go on general sale or are they all going on sale at the same time?" Her: Unfortunatly not. Your own personal seat is reserved until the 30th June but all other seats are on general sale straight away when season tickets go on sale next wednesday. If you wan't to move seats then come down next wednesday, we'll give you some seat numbers and you can go and have a look in the stadium and choose which ones you want". She was very polite and helpful and I couldn't fault the customer service. She answered the question's that I had clearly and with a pleasant attitude. It was only when I looked at the official site this morning that I realised the information that the box office were giving out was the opposite of what the official site was giving out.
I was one that phoned the box office yesterday to be told 'Next Wednesday' But, in light of the info today, I called again and have now reserved seats for myself an son. Credit card and details taken. Should get a phone call when the ST book arrives for me to go down and pick up. Left hand, right hand - Ain't got a clue.
