the supporters going to any england match duing the world cup have to be at the ground 3 HOURS BEFORE KICK OFF and you need your passport to get into any stadium....full bag check expected
What a load of rubbish that is. Off to World Cup with people who have been to other touraments and they say this every time but never happened. Anyone on here have tickets for any of the England matches?
RE: No tickets yet... A friend has got me tickets but they have his wifes name on. Will have to keep passport with me at all times
RE: No tickets yet... Got tickets for Trinidad and have got one for the final too. As mentioned, inspections have been mentioned happening in previous world cups BUT it's more likely to happen this year. They do have procedures put in place for this to happen, but will take time.
Got any spares? Got any spares? Let me know
If he's got them via the FIFA site he can do a name change on the self service portal.

RE: do you think theres much chance of gerrin england tix outside stadium? Always going to be able to get the tickets from touts, etc but not sure if it is worth the risk this year...... Paying £400 + for a ticket and getting knocked back at the turnstiles!!!
Well in Portugal.. There were loads floating about in Portugal and I reckon there will be plenty in Germany.
The German FA have invested a lot of money in being able to check IDs at all the stadia (to the the point where FIFA have criticised them over this). There will be some checking of names v tickets. I can't see FIFA being very happy if there are half empty stadia because people are getting turned away because the ticket they have bears someone elses name...
It's a gamble that I'm going to take wherever i haven't got tickets.

From what I understood, you will be security checked at the games and it may be a long process, therefore if you turn up at the first check point (security) 10 minutes before kick off you may well miss the game. The Police and security are recommending 3 hours before, inside this security zoe will be bars, food and entertainment so you do not need to go inside the ground straight away. I got the impression the peak activity would be between 1-2 hours before the game starts. Also you have to carry your passport at all times, especially for security checks so it is recommended to take a photocopy and keep it locked safe in your room.
