    I rate Mike Newell but . . .

My head says you should never appoint a manager who's in the habit of losing, if he came in and we had 3 or 4 poor results his record would look awful.

Unless they've had a break from the game, anyway what David O'Dreary getting the job? God help us

    5. Ian Holloway

unemployed: Stan Ternant, David O'leary, Ian Dowie, Eric Winstanley, Neil Redfearn, Peter Reid, Sven, Gazza, Greame Souness, George Graham, Graham Taylor, Mick Wadsworth

Why would Ian Hollloway want to leave Plymouth? A team who he is doing well with, have a higher average crowd than us and are a south west team much like his mentality and birth place. the only reason he gets so much press is he says vaguely funny things in a completely yokel way. He is a middle of the road manager much like Blackwell, Pulis( who hasn't yet been mentioned as he's under contract and only recently gone to Stoke) and Newell who has reached the peak of his managerial ability. We are not a massive club and will therefore not be appointing a BIG name manager expect unemployed or lower division, but highly thought of( Like Parkin was until he showed his transfer acumen.)
