    At the times when they signed their respective contracts, yes.

    If the 750k release clause is true, then it would be a good return for a player who cost us nothing and has just about earned his wages. If he can attract another suitor before the end of January, it may well start a bidding war to take it over 1m. This would mean him turning out for us for a few more games, which might just as likely turn everybody off. I would ask Bolton for 1m immediately, which they may go for in order to keep off any competition.

    Then we can all sit around and have a good laugh, before picking up the phone to Adam Hammill. :D

    300k is what I heard was the release clause, but was shot down saying that the Don had said no release clauses in any contracts
