If we are plundering Hull players, I would rather have Matty Fryatt on loan to cover for Marcus Pedersen.

Probably true. I mean it's not like we have enough players.

He's a left back who is renowned for standing on the post for corners.

I believe he's got a long throw but that's all I know about him.

He was one of the City players who Nigel Pearson raved over when he brought him in and was recommended by Warren Joyce at Man United. Would be a good replacement for Golbourne and was one of the names I mentioned a few weeks ago in a post.

If he brings yet another defender in

and still keeps picking Wiseman, he's got to go imho. If I were Chief Exec, if we ship 3 or more tomorrow night, I'd be making tentative enquiries. Results business, no room for sentiment.

No offence to the lad (because I actually know someone who knows him very well) but I don't believe we need any more players.

Just watching the 21's game, and the young left back Smith looks decent to me. Then there's Reuben who we were told "deserves 30 or 40 games now" by Flitcroft last Thursday, right before he dropped him. Again.

Nyatanga, Kennedy, McNulty (who is a left back, remember) and even BOBBY HASSELL can play that position.

But yes, let's recruit our 38th defender. Hell, let's keep shuffling the pack until summat clicks.

    For fcuks sake.

Re: If he brings yet another defender in

Our manager in recent times has said two things......

    1) That RNL deserves games.
    2) He doesn't like loaning in young players from other clubs to give them experience when he can give one of our own games.

So i'd hope this rumour isn't true. I don't see what we have to gain by bringing in an inexperienced kid with barely 20 games to his name. I'd rather one of our own "inexperienced kids" were given a go.
