Cant you see the really poor singers who appear to be a bit of a joke are hand picked for the show,thats my opinion though we have no proof,could anybody sing or dance as bad as some of them?thats why I dont watch the rubbish along with Big Brother.

 

I was told once that the only people who see the TV judges are screened by other people - leaving only those with a genuine chance of going through and the rank awful ones - ie anyone moderately good but unlikely to progress is not allowed to audition.

 

They can audition but not in front of the judges. My niece entered a couple of years ago. She went to Blackpool for an audition. All excited about seeing the judges, she auditioned in front of somebody but it wasn't the judges you see on tv. Everybody is filtered and only the excellent ones and the terrible ones go in front of the judges. Didn't even catch a glimpse of them and she was not on the show at all. But my brother did win £500 on a scratchcard while we were there so not all bad.

 

The problem is , anyone with an half decent voice is made out to be some new 'Pop sensation' by Cowell, Walsh etc etc (mmm, couldn't be lining their own pockets could they?). Yet, whoever wins it, will no doubt do a few cover versions, won't be able to play any instruments, won't be able to read or write music, can't produce music etc etc. I know there will be the odd exception here but let's face it, you are hardly likley to get the next Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs etc etc coming up through this dubious 'talent' channel.

Guitarist pfff! not worthy of owt, their all garbage Hendrix included, Hank Marvin weren't too bad i suppose, but i was a nipper when he was at his best and didn't know no better....

 

couple of people i spoke to ventura where he works said it was a load of crap. cheryl cole said he needed to up his confidence whereas my friends said he was a right poser hence the tight shirt and tattoes showing. and he doesnt talk with a bit of a stutter.
