    two questions then

did we have an extra wall that was in front of the one that the ball went nowhere near? and did they change the signal for penalty to be exactly the same as that for corner kick without telling anyone?

Sorry, Just Going With What It Says Here

Brown came on for the last 17 minutes just hours after signing his deal at the JJB Stadium and his one telling contribution was to earn a free-kick on the edge of the box, which then led to the penalty after Koumas' effort was judged to have been handballed by the Barnsley wall. Landzaat sent Barnsley keeper the wrong way from the spot to net his first goal of the pre-season.

hmm that show's to me that even their journalist doesn't think it was a penalty. The way he just says it was handled by the wall indicates he hasnt got a clue who the ref decided it touched.
