@Gids1980: #barnsleyfc are also close to signing a defender from a Premier League club. (2/3)

@Gids1980: #barnsleyfc are expected to complete at least two new signings today, possibly 3. #mufc midfielder Ben Pearson is thought to be one. (1/3)

@Gids1980: Understand there's no truth to rumors of interest in #barnsleyfc midfielder Conor Hourihane from Championship clubs (3/3).

Very good news about the lad Pearson if true. Especially with Preston rumored to be interested in him. Looks a very exciting prospect, plays a simple game and looks for that killer ball. Everything I'd hoped from James Bailey.

Best bit having to google them to find out who they are only to find out their was no need because it just so happens all you had to do was come on here because someone as seen every game he's played in since he was 3 years old, another good one is hearing how he's been top striker in unders 21s 3 years running scoring 52 goals in 28 games with his left foot we see all YouTube vids of him banging them in turn up to game on Saturday and our manager as put him at right wing back

I used to like how Perkins broke up play in midfield. He used to be on em before they could advance and end up getting tangled up in their legs.

If you can't do that and score 20 a season with 40 assists and a better passing range then Scholes and willing to do it for wages we pay and in league we're in then tha very limited and Fu'cking rubbish as a footballer

He was quite consistent at this. Just that he was ***** as at football, used to hang on to the ball too long.

It was only in his last season with us that I noticed Perkins going off the boil. Before that I thought he was excellent, as I'm sure did the vast majority of this forum.
