Sad to say he won't be missed. I thought he was pretty poor myself. Can't forget that horrendous back pass to Colgan which gifted Colchester a goal.

Just think if we had beaten Colchester at home..............

Then think on that that means Hecko will have to play.

Eckersley played quite well on Saturday until he went off injured

LEFT back Adam Eckersley's season looks to be over.

The Manchester United youngster tore his thigh muscle in Monday's victory over Birmingham City and looks set for a month on the sidelines. With just four weeks of the Championship season remaining it is unlikely the 21-year-old will wear a Reds shirt again this campaign.

Speaking exclusively to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Barnsley manager Simon Davey said: "Adam has torn his thigh muscle and has gone back to Manchester United for treatment and rehab. It looks like it will end his season".

Adam joined the Reds on a season-long loan from Manchester United in January 2007. He has made six first team appearances.

Thought he played well Saturday before he got injured, but overall didn't add anything extra to the team.

Im not a fan of Hecky ...........but I reckon Disco will be 'up' for this game (as he has been for virtually every game) and shwo what a good modern day winger he is by helping Hecky out wherever possible.

Eckersley not done much whilst here- looked nervous at times but that dosent mean to say he will not be a good player once he gets more experience under his belt.

According to website Disco and Howard are both doubtful for Sat. Hope its just psychological games. We need them both to be on top of the games. Eckersley has been a massive disappointment.
