absolutely brilliant performance today.

made runs in support of Howard, made tackles when it mattered and made one great header away from the goalmouth area. Personally, I wasn't that impressed by his first performance but having seen him since he is undoubtedly better than Hecky or Williams.

    Well done lad

    no need to apologise

just a difference of opinion, what BBS is about.

I atually agree he was a little shaky at the start but I definately think he really came good, and even average is better than what else classes for a left back come central midfielder at Oakwell.

good game but needs to keep that line at the back...he dropped 3-4 yards behind rest of defence thus playing them onside...but overall good game.

Thought he had a good game, showed good going forward & thought he did defensively well! Got back a few times to cover for other people!

    Awful first half.....

Disco and Bobby covered eachother pretty well.
Howard went inside a lot and that left a gap ... Eckersley often went forward to fill it and that meant he was caught out of position. In turn it meant Kay started drifting into left back position sometimes as cover...and Kay ended up having a poor game too...

It was much better when Nardie went off and Reid came on...more movement and bodies in front of Eckersley and more options for him as he was less isolated. I would rather have seen Reid start wide left and Howard in the middle, McCann on the bench .... more balanced and players in more natural positions, more cover for Eckerlsey and that way he might play like he did at the end...

Kay was driving me potty last night

Been a big fan of his this season but last night he was back to the bad old days where he was more interesting in diving in, tussling with others and pulling their shirts than he was actually trying to win the ball - absolutely infuriating.

    Devaney

Was it me was he playing alot deeper last night, seemed to run from his own half a lot.

Maybe Davey wants him to help hassell out?

    RE: Devaney

He is playing deeper as the tactics are 8 men on the edge of the box and two guys up front to try and get on the end of the clearances.

Its Genius , and if this is what you need to do to get a UEFA Pro License then I might send off for one next week.

Their left-sided guy was excellent especially 2nd half.

shame for them that the forwards weren't as good.
