After watching Adams performance last night I think the chance of us signing him have diminished. He really was very good playing in a more central midfield role.John Aldridge was raving about him saying he's improved his chances of breaking into the first team squad. The other thing that struck me was after he had scored the equaliser from the penalty spot the way he kissed the badge. He obviously wants to play for his home town club and on last nights showing he hasn't done his chances any harm.
I still think we will get him on a season long loan. Cant see him getting anywhere near there 1st team !!
Yep, agreed. Just watched it this morning and he aint done himself any harm staying at Liverpool with that performance. One of my mates has pointed out that he changed the game "against Tranmere", but he stood out more than any other of the team
He's a good player, however... Alonso. Gerrard. Mascherano et al provide BIG stumbling blocks for him. We'll get him, don't you worry. He's good, but he isn't good enough to play for Liverpool's first team.
I've just read a couple of Liverpool fans comments on their 606 board, they seem very impressed.I hope Simon Davey can pull this one of,fingers crossed.
RE: He's a good player, however... Across the midfield positions thy have got Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano, Kuyt, Lucas, Riera, Benayoun, possibly Babel. Then youngsters in a similar position to him, Plessis, Spearing, Duran. I reckon he will be out on loan for a season but we will probably have to wait until the end of August.
Season long loan i think To be honest, i think he's got the potential to push the first teamers, but he's not to there standard yet. However i can't see liverpool letting him go because its obvious that he could be worth millions in another couple of years. Really hope we can get him on loan, he'll make such a difference, his crossing has got to be one of the best i've ever seen in a tarn shirt.
Pal; they sold Paul Anderson to Forest for £250,000! He was everybit as good as Hammill. We'll get him, don't worry.
