footballer has admitted assaulting a paramedic in Liverpool city centre. Adam Hammill, 24, of Bootle, was arrested after an incident on Temple Court in the early hours of 7 October. At Liverpool Magistrates' Court he admitted two counts of assault and was released on bail until 20 November when he will be sentenced. Club bosses at Huddersfield Town, where he is currently on loan from Wolves, said he could now face further disciplinary action. A spokesman said: "Adam has already been subject to an internal disciplinary procedure at the club, but we will revisit any possible further action when the legal process has been concluded." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-20297678
Seriously surprised at this. I have a bit of a thing against footballers ... They're all tw@ts on nights out in my experience..... I met Hammill when my kids were mascots and he came across as such a down to earth, family lad. Just shows.... Instincts were right in the first place.
on the plus side, nailed on to join us now..probably just before he starts his sentence though, so we have to wait 6 months before he can kick a ball.
