    because the FA Headquarters is closed and cannot process the transfer. Remember back to the January Deadline day. They had to extend it to the monday 1st FEB as the 31st fell on a SUNDAY. If you are panicking then STOP!!! It will be announced tomorrow. He may have signed the forms but until it reaches the FA he is still a Liverpool player.

    How come Davey was announced as our full-time manager on a Sunday?

    Just curious, is it different finalising it and sending off the relevant paper's?

    Probably didn't actually finalise the contract until Monday but everything was agreed already.
