I can't see Hammill falling to the same depths as Lumsdon. Liverpool have high hopes for him. And I (although I don't know him) personally feel he has high hopes for himself. I would imagine that we would be a stepping stone for his career. I truly hope we sign him.
RE: Last time the fans really wanted a young player to sign who'd been on loan was... Things could have been so different with this signing. I still think he was quality but circumstances dictated he would not match his potential.
I seriously hope he signs for us and doesn't do something daft like sign for big bad weeds united instead. :'(
