Having seen him play for Middlesbrough, he looked to have lost all that desire & passion he had for us. but saying that, I'd have him back at Oakwell. No question.

Come on then PC - time to sell some season passes and get this guy back. Keith would work wonders with him.

The match winner we are crying out for

Did it virtually all on his own the season before last and we were ***** after he went.

Definitely worth pushing the boat out for if there is any spare cash floating about.

if we could somehow entice him to come back (highly unlikely) i'd be over the moon!

use that Norwood money and see where we get...

Wages wise we will be miles apart, would love to see him back down at Oakwell, one of the best players of recent times.

He probably doubled his wages at Wolves. No chance unless he takes a huge pay cut, which he won't ad he'll be offered plenty elsewhere in the division.

Its when players like Hammill become available you realise just how far away we are from competing financially with some teams in this division. It will only get worse with all the parachute payments that are now being paid to relegated clubs for a 160 years after they have been relegated.

Would love to see him back but I imagine every team in the championship will be after him. never going to happen. Forest, Leicester, Leeds who seem to be in the market for every decent Championship level player going.

Best player 2 years ago but Andy Gray did alot of running to create space for Hamill needs other players to do the tackling back and chasing for him.

There are surely players on more than him. Perhaps the new manager just does not fancy him.

To stand any chance what so ever of getting him back at this club we'd have to agree to a 500k release and a 2 year contract as well as making him the highest paid player by some distance, with the stick the club/board got last time i don't think they'd go anywhere near him this time
