I wonder what it was that attracted him to the club who have just banked the first 4 and a half of what could become 8 million pounds...
He doesn't have to move for money, he gets his wolves wages regardless. Good move for him, progressive club.
Huddersfield got 8 million up front for Rhodes, there is another 2 million add ons like for promotion and they have a future sell on clause incase of any profit if he continues to improve.
Why on earth would we want to sign Adam Hammill when we've got O'Brien'/Done/Etuhu/Silva et al. If you can tell me which of those is fit to lace Adam Hammill's boots I will gladly laugh myself to death. Good luck to Huddersfield - they already know what it takes to be successful at this level - investment and ambition. This transfer window has shown what many of us already knew - with the current heirarchy we can no longer compete at this level. Get used to it.
Not sure I'd have Hammill back. Apart from his purple patch at the start of the season when he left us his displays were fairly unexceptional. He didn't pull many trees up when he first joined us and once all the hype about him started and other Clubs started to take interest in him he'd gone off the boil. Huddersfield are going to have to hope that he can reproduce the sort of form that he produced in that short spell at the beginning of the 2010/11 season. His goal scoring record wasn't exceptional the preceding season.
Didn't he score a hatrick of fantastic goals against them in pre-season a couple of year back for us? Seem to remember a overhead kick...
Agree mate, wouldn't want us spending a top wage on him. Vaz Te was a better player IMO (just for comparison).
