Wigan, Blackburn & Southampton rumoured to be chasing him a few weeks ago, now out of our depth or worth a cheeky attempt for a loan? It would be difficult if those clubs were in the running.

I think he would be the player that could fill the void left by Vaz Te, he can create a goal out of nothing, well he could when he played for us!

Definitely worth a cheeky attempt. My sis was at a dinner with Macca the week before last. She had instructions to get my daughter an autograph, to ask if we could have Hammill back on loan, and if Macca ever thought he's come back to Barnsley as boss. He supplied the autograph, and said there was a better chance of the first option!

No. Even if we could compete with those clubs he made his bed and now has to lie in it. Players going back to a club they used to play for hardly ever works out. Time now to look to the future. I'd rather Hill keep bringing in guys i've not heard of before who are hungry to impress, rather than turning back to a guy who turned his back on us.

But l think he would do more for us than Dagnall or Davies.

We aren't going up and we aren't going down. I don't see Hill following Bobins by bringing in pointless high cost loans. Best to save the money we have until the summer now to push on next season.

Hark at you Dreamy 'Bobins' indeed. You're talking bobbins, you reckon Hammill wouldn't be hungry to impress after being frozen out at Wolves... utter rubbish.

I doubt he'd be a high cost loan as it's in Wolves' interest to get him out playing football to a) get him match fit b) If they want rid to put him in the shop window again.

We would be mad not to get him back. Davies looks lost out wide at the minute, Vaz has gone, Dagnell looks awful out wide. That leaves JOB who hasn't played for weeks. Get AH in NOW and finish the season on a high. Do the club want to finish 18th etc or do they want to push for the top half and try and get people back for next season!!

Because of the rumour mill don't go thinking every Premiership loan is high cost, depends what type of deal we can get them for. Tonge is here due to an excellent financial package offered by Tony Pullis according to Keef.

Yeah Tony Pullis seems to really like us and knows we are a decent club to send players to for match practice. It's worked out well the past few years for both sides :)

Mick owes us a favour with the players he's nicked off us over the past few years and then failed to do anything with them... (wink emoji thingy)

Would love to se him run out for us on Saturday, would get the crowd excited a bit more :) He must be fed up of sitting in the stands.

Has he not been out the side cos they brought Frimpong in on loan. Now he's gone back (injured), Hammill may be needed.
