carrying a foot injury Im told, couldnt get his boot on on Friday, so maybe an explanation for not being on top form on Saturday.

    Are we that desperate already?

    Devaney could have played..

    Damned if you do

damned if you dont. In hindsight and all that, Bogo wouldve been on the bench and Kozluk dropped for Potter. Happy days.

But who would have played for Bogo..

Hume is not fit enough yet..

Potter has to play now and for some reason I think Davey will make changes. He hinted to that on Saturday after the match. He can no longer afford to put up with inept performances, especially as he will hopefully have more options for Prestin/Leicester.

    ODJ shouldve started

had a decent game at Hillsbrough, dont see why we needed to change anything. Having a player that can come on and score is ideal, but the majority opinion on here seemed to be we've got to start with Bogo. Course that'll have changed now.

I suspect the stories of his injury must be hugely exaggerated. If he couldn't get his boot on Friday, you'd have to be a retard to consider playing him.

    Disagree...

but, what I will say is that he needs to stick with one or the other for more than one/two games.

But we could have the worlds best centre forrads and we would struggle as the midfield was lacklustre to say the least.

A goalscorer will always be preffered to start. We will never agree about KO. I don't think he is anything like we need.

I also don't understand the insistence of strikers "working the channels". Can't wingers do that instead of coming in-field, leaving teh strikers trying to cross to themselves?

    RE: ODJ shouldve started

Felt sorry for the front 2 to be honest ..... no service at all. Drogba & Torres would have done well to score Saturday.

Anderson needs help in the middle asap .... hope this new lads up to scratch or failing that Colace is fit. The games passing Butterfield by ..... he's just a bystander.

Moore not fit & with Kozzy out of form & now suspended ........ glad we brought in a left back/defensive cover !!

It turned out he'd brought his nephew's boots to training. When he brought his own boots on Setdi they fitted fine.
