    Rumours doing the rounds again on twitter, that he's set to return to Oakwell.

    He is now officially on twitter, after a year of some sad lovely person pretending to be him.

    @Adam_Hammill88 if anybody cares.

    *apologies for not making this Muslim in content

    Of the players who've left to go on to warm bigger and better benches, Hammill is someone I could actually imagine doing well again at Barnsley. He was an exciting player and some of his goals from the edge of the box were a joy to behold. But I suspect he'd never be fully welcomed back and so it's probably best consigned to history.

    I would have him back.Think he would be great for us. Always tried and never seemed to get the chance elsewhere

    If he rekindled his past performances for us I think the crowd could forgive him tbh .as per the prodigal son. IS that being religious?

    There's rumours of him coming back every transfer window. Can't see it happening myself. Would make a massive improvement on JO'B though.

    That's the thing, though. It only takes a few boo-boys and a couple of bad performances to undermine the confidence of a young player who's not in his best form. I liked Hammill, I really did, but I'm not sure it'd be the best move for him.

    Flicker + Hammill = Midtable mediocrity.

    I just did a little wee in excitement. :)

    Can't see him replacing Jim Scott, Hammill looked at his best on the left whilst at oakwell.

    If he could re-capture the form for us, with Flicker in charge, mid-table would be the least of our ambitions!
