raheem sterling is easily good enough. Stick him on the left wing for me and put oxlade chamberlain on the bench. as much as i rate him, rushing him like we have done with walcott etc is going to ruin him. bring him in slowly bcos arsene wenger wont

You do know that Sterling is younger than Chamberlain and has played a tenth of the games that Chamberlain has?

    No way is Sterling ready.

So, you don't want to 'rush' Oxlade-Chamberlain (aged 19), but you suggest playing Sterling (aged 17)?

Sterling's inclusion will be largely down to the reports that the Jamaican national team have approached him about playing for them. Lallana deserves a chance though.

Shows how much notice I take of football

I've never heard of these players.

And there was a bloke playing for England on Friday, no idea what position he was supposed to be playing, who I didn't know from Adam. I've heard of his name but I haven't a clue what club he plays for.

Glad Adam Lallana has been included, great talent and has been for the last few years. Strange that he hasn't followed the likes of Walcott and Bale and left Southampton before now, but obviously he's been rewarded for his patience now.
