if we had bought him we would have either been sitting on a top goalscorer or a hefty profit..................but no we held fire and bought the likes of Dagnall and others for ten bob and a blackies egg. no fooking idea whatsoever have the pillox down at Jokewell................ same old story unfortunately. Clueless HTH
does that make all other championship clubs (other than reading of course) clueless? Maybe we couldn't afford him?
there is always someone to defend the clowns at the 'well...........is ure surname Rowing or Taylor by any chance? hth
He's got better service there then he would have here, which makes a huge difference. If we had signed him he would have scored goals like Davies in the first half of the season, but then struggled like Davies second half of the season once we lost the creative players we did.
If he had signed for us, we would have had to give him half the wage he's on at Reading, That means he would have been using us as a stepping stone like RVT did and Cottrill is doing right now, signing only for 6 months or a year, so the likely hood of us getting a good transfer fee would be minimal to say the least. that's what's always going to happen unless you bow down the the excessive wage demands, this putting the club in debt, THEREEVE would be moaning like the b!tch he his if we had bought him and he'd turned out *****, i'd rather not pay over the odds for a 4th division striker and him turn out good for someone else, then put the club at risk by paying over the odds on a 3 year deal and him be *****, like we have done in the past, the way the club are doing things at the moment is the right way in my opinion.
