    Seems an honest and decent guy, shame we never got him in but it was still a risk, hindsight will always make what happened look ridiculous for various players- like when we supposedly got Hammill in over Charlie Adam and the Demba Ba story that pops up from time to time!

    Trevor Francis didn't sign Eric Cantona for the pigs because he'd "Not seen him play on grass". Had him pinched from under his nose by Howard Wilkinson at Leeds.
