Best of luck in your retirement Adie You put in some stellar performances in the promotion season and the year in the premiership.
Ahhh, fond memories of the 'Biblical 11' thread. One of the best, and longest this BBS ever produced (apart from EI's 'which hotel' thread). Moses, Bishop, Archdeacon etc etc.
Maybe someone can dig it out of the old BBS vaults.

Legend Hope he enjoys his retirement and that we get him down to Oakwell soon to get a round of applause on the pitch (Y) (Y) (Y)
Hi new to board but just want say what a great guy Adie is. I met him socially on a number of occassions (best mates with a lad i work with) and I know that he didn't want to leave us when he did but fell out with Basset. I thought he fell through the leagues pretty quickly when he probably could have played championship football for a few more years. Oh and by the way anyone remember the cracker he scored when we played Leeds
I much prefer to remember..... ...the crackers against Norwich and Man City! Good luck Adie. I musy say that like a few others on here I am very surprised that you didn't spend many more seasons in the upper reaches of English football.
Diamond Geezer! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adie_Moses Well done on a solid career! You're part of PREM folklore (nodding2fingers)
Didn't realise Brian Little was manager at Gainsbrough bit of a come down for him Good luck to Adie though
Working for a solicitors in Lincoln (?) I understand. Nice full page story about him in tonight's Lincolnshire Echo. He talks well about Barnsley and the players there who helped and influenced him.
Remember seeing him on the championship a couple of years back he was training to be a journalist, good luck to him
Good luck to him for the future. He played a big part playing for us. Good lad too. Surprised he took a bit of a downward spiral when he left as he was a true professional and a honest player(sometimes a little too honest!). Never forget the way Shearer got him sent off..... that was scandalous!...knowing just how fair a player Adie was.
