    not only did the wife get up to watch this...

    she watched it in our bedroom.

    the knob commentator for the phelps race woke me up - I thought someone was being murdered live on TV.

    she then has had the nerve to turn soccer am off to watch rowing!

    some serious inconsiderations today need some retort. :)

    I could swear

    Phelps didn't win that! It looked like the other bloke had his hands on the end before Phelps made his lunge. Bizarre. Must be a trick of the water.
