    I understand asking for an account to be deleted as you may want all previous posts deleting, I don't understand asking for a ban though, surely just not logging in amounts to the same?

    No need for this thread if you don't want to come on here just don't visit the site. I think you are a good poster enjoy reading your opinions of players and games and you seem to be "in the know" on transfers. But this is all abit silly.

    Deleting an account doesn't delete all posts it just removes the name from the posts so they are posted by guest. If we do this a lot then it looks crap with lots of guest posts

    If we were to remove all posts by that person too then lots of threads would stop making sense ( not that they all do any way lol)

    The forum starts looking a mess if you start deleting accounts/posts etc

    As you say rather than have their account banned they should just not log in. They may change their mind later any how

    If it was a security issue I'm sure we would delete an account but that would be few and far between.

    I don't think someone taking their bat and ball home is a security issue :)
