Anyone else think he shouldn't be allowed despite him obviously being a world class future star?

He hasn't got an ounce of English blood running through him

I wish he could play for England because the few times I've seen him on the tele I would say he is already one of the top 5 best players in the world and he is still only 18

    Yeh but he isn't English.

His parents are Kosovan and grew up in Albania. He should have to play for Kosovo or nothing, unless his mum is Albanian but I don't think she is. He's also can play for Serbia and Turkey. The rules for players representing countries in sport full stop is shocking.

What criteria makes him eligible to represent England? It's not really a new issue, though. Over the years, and covering a variety of sports & countries, there's been numerous individuals who find a flag of convenience, as it were. Sometimes it's because they're not good enough to represent their own country at the time, or, on other occasions, their own country is not amongst the best within their own particular discipline.
However, there are at times some justifiable reasons for this taking place. If someone, for example, has been a refugee from their own country, then it's quite understandable for them to want to represent the country which offered them a safe refuge

No I don't want him near our international team. I want people that are English playing for England. Shouldn't be too much to ask.
