He is (partly) right If they had 9 more points they would be still fighting for Automatic promotion Trouble is they are rubbish at home we played them off the park - as did 7 other teams - you cant lose 8 games at home and only win 8 home games all season and expect automatic promotion. Our performance against the lower half teams is poor. Davety could just as easily turn round and say we should be beating the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Leicester home and away - if we did we would be in the playoffs

Theres nowt wrong with playing to your strengths He's a very good manager. If they didn't play like that they'd maybe even be in league one now, with the way they were heading.
