Advice needed PLEASE before I go crazy ....

    I downloaded a file ( from a trusted supplier ) to upload files and now my computer appears to have been "taken over" by ADS - CONGRATULATIONS you have won etc ....
    I tried deleting Chrome and it's still here ....
    All thoughts and help greatly appreciated otherwise there will be a damaged macbook pro free to a good home!

    Seriously though, have you tried running anti-virus/malware software (you haven't mentioned it?)
