Advice needed regarding travel in London

I'm going to be in London in May & will need to get a taxi from St Pancras to my hotel in Islington & back. The tube is out as both tube stations aren't wheelchair friendly so it's a taxi. Does anyone have any idea as to how long a taxi might take to do the journey & how much it might cost?

Islington is pretty close to St Pancras - 1.5 to 2.5 miles depending on where in Islington. Unless you're travelling at a busy time, you should be in a cab no more than 5 or 6 minutes
