I'm going to be in London in May & will need to get a taxi from St Pancras to my hotel in Islington & back. The tube is out as both tube stations aren't wheelchair friendly so it's a taxi. Does anyone have any idea as to how long a taxi might take to do the journey & how much it might cost? Thanks in advance.
Islington is pretty close to St Pancras - 1.5 to 2.5 miles depending on where in Islington. Unless you're travelling at a busy time, you should be in a cab no more than 5 or 6 minutes Taxi fares are detailed here. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/taxisandminicabs/taxis/1140.aspx
Not as bad as I was expecting I thought the fares would be "nose bleed" time! That gives me an idea as to what return train to book. Thanks.
