What grief have you got with Norton . Only curious like cause it's all I've ever used and it seems to do the job OK .

It rattles a bit like when i go on some well dodgy porn sites though....But always clears any mess i make on the keyboard up efficiently (viruses ) etc.... (chinny) ....

    Kaspersky is better

Smaller footprint, less resources, runs constantly in background. Found 24 things that AVG didn't when I switched a couple of weeks back and doesn't have that bloody awful slowdown ever day that AVG did. FREE from AOL at the moment - no involvement or tie-in with AOL necessary. Link here http://www.activevirusshield.com/antivirus/freeav/index.adp?

It's the same product as the paid-for Kaspersky, which is arguably the best of the AV software out there, apart from NOD32, possibly.
