Anyone know what's happened in that game tonight? Only result I need in a bet. I checked my slip earlier and it had a tick against it as if it'd won but it's now got no tick and my history says it's 'to run'.

Was abandoned I think, as all Olympiakos games seem to be.

Ffs. Found out now. Olympiakos scored in 89th minute to go 1 up, Athens fans invaded pitch and match was abandoned. Where does that leave my fookin bet?

They won't pay out as your bet will stand after 90 minutes

So they'll have to remove that game and payout on the rest? Or will I have to wait for the replayed game?

Pay out the rest if it's on an accumulator

    According to the BBC:

"The Olympiakos players immediately headed off the pitch and into their dressing room.

They were soon followed by match officials and AEK players and over half an hour later officials announced that the game would not resume, with leaders Olympiakos progressing to the semi-finals."

That surely means the result stands so they should payout.

It was AEK fans at fault tonight though.

What's going on with the Greeks? No one pays any taxes but they expect huge benefits from the state. When that gets the country in massive debt they just don't pay it back. And when their football team is losing they just invade the pitch so the match is abandoned. It's like being a young child and screaming and shouting and balling until you get what you want. Reminds me of the BBS when some folk have taken a dislike to the manager.

    Did you win much Ponty?

£35 from a quid. Not a great deal but it means more to me than them.

Greek football can be on my ignore list now along with Italian.

It's not the money when you place such a bet, it's the feel good factor. Well done mate. Make sure you use that money for a few bevvies at Oldham and it doesn't get sucked in to the gas bill or summat.

It'll be part of my kitty for Cheltenham today. So they might get it back. Not had a bad week though so far, showing a small profit from first 2 days.

I've only won a couple of accumulators, but the best one involved Wednesday losing, and they were thrashed 7-1 at home by Forest. £90 profit on a £1 stake and S6 humiliation. Now *that* feels good :)
