    I can't see either of them (the test pic seems to work though)

    The problem with the first image is that it's hosted in some place where you need to log in first... the image url is long but I guess the picture is an e-mail attachment on Hotmail? So, you can probably see the image because it's stored in your cache, but no one else can.

    The url for the second image seems to be broken though, or at at least it's not even pointing to a proper picture file. (instead of that it's pointing to http://giantmonster.com/index.php which is a link to an ordinary webpage)

    Perhaps you could use Imageshack (www.imageshack.us) or something and upload that picture there first?
