Has peoples expectations changed that much. I expect us to slowly get better, but can't help thinking that lack of goals will let us down big time and the defence will continue to get the blame for everything. Before the start of the season I expected a top quality striker and a left back and we still need both plus Nyatanga then I would feel more optimistic.
I had hoped that we were going to be a more dogged side away from home , does not look like we are. I hoped we would be able to defend better than last season, we are still averaging 2 goals a game against, we have not addressed the bdeficiencies we had last season at all. We are still too slow at the back, no left footer at full back, no penetration around the box and bloody midgets in midfield. I am now expecting an even harder fight against relegation
Last Season... vs QPR away - 0 points. vs Coventry home - 0 points. vs Birmingham (the season before) - 0 points. Versus their closest equivalent last season IMHO, WBA, 0 points. No way am I hitting the panic button yet. If we come away from Derby at home and Blackpool away with less than 4 points, I'll start to worry.
