After stewing for a while I can honestly say that that was the worst performance I've ever seen by a Reds side.

As already mentioned, Cole was terrible, just needed to steer that chance in & had to blast it, apart from pace what does he offer? Should of shot when he'd beaten 2 men but had to try & beat 2 more?! Terrible player

Thought big Jean was solid, needs to play instead of Nyatanga who is clueless, him & Dudgeon didn't have a scooby today. If the object of football was to knock ball around back 4 & then back to keeper & then back to defence then we'd be Real Madrid.

Play like that Tuesday & Donny will steam roller through us.

Scunny were awful, we made them look good, horrible team wi time wasting & as for Bishop pushing physio, well that's disgusting. Seriously hope they go down, no matter how much I like Mark Robins.

Turnbull getting slated is ridiculous, very lucky to have him, and I know he's the bbs' whipping boy but Treacey put more balls into the box int 25 mins he was on than anybody else in that shambles of a team.

Feel awful, footy shouldn't make me feel as angry as it does but we'd have been better off sticking youth side out today. It really wa that bad

Of the top of my head I can think of 235 worse performances than that about 40 from last season for starters. Huddersfield away...

I've seen loads of performances worse than today's.

It was poor, I admit, but those using the result and performance as reasons to call for Wilson's head are out of their minds.

M'Voto scares me, though. To think that I privately championed him as a reason we might stay up last season. My God.

If people didn't notice the complete fock up BFJ made at the end where Scunny should have scored then they are watching a different game. He really was atrocious

I went today with my best mate, and a visitor we have over from Sweden.

When BFJ was about to come on, I said to the Swede that he was about to see a defender who scares the ******* life out of me every time the ball gets within ten feet of him.

The problem I've got with M'Voto is that he's not utterly useless, but he has so many deficiencies that he is nothing more than a liability. When the ball's in the air, he'll get it clear, and he's a danger from set pieces, as well as being a useful last-gasp option to throw up front when we're losing.

He's unlike any player I've ever seen before when the ball's at his feet, though. Every pass seems to kind of sllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddddddddeeeeee across the ground, and because of that, even M'Voto doesn't know where the **** it's going to end up. It means he's always likely to play us into trouble, which he did at least once.

(Fredrik the Swede didn't agree with me. He said M'Voto was okay, liked Dudgeon, and thought S****horpe never even tried to play football. He'll be at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, and I hope he has more fun than he had today.)

Bit hard for dudgeon to play a pass forward when there's one playing 15-20 yard away from him. he was one of the better players today

My problem with M'Voto is his guaranteed one absolute farcical **** up a game and one really obvious foul in the penalty area he (usually) gets away with.

Ha! You expressed in a sentence the sentiment of something I failed to express in about five!

Neither of you can have a very good memory then. Not one single performance under Hill or Flicker was worse than that? If we'd have taken our chances we could easily have won that game. You can't say that about most of the dross served up over the last few years. Barnsley 0 Birmingham 3 springs to mind for starters.

I wonder how long it will be until the next 'worst performance for years'.

    i

If we are going for white performances the 5-0 home defeat to West Ham was pretty dire under Keef. Maybe we should have a vote or summat.

    Some others, just for posterity:

That Bradford game on the first day of the season under Good Old Nigel Spackman.

Wednesday away, Good Old Nigel's last stand.

Palace away the day before Andy Ritchie got sacked. Bloody hell. That was a bad one.

John Hendrie's side going away to Watford with two teenagers and Deon Burton as our attacking options. Nil-nil written all over it.

Charlton (relegated) and Southampton (relegated) at home under Simon Davey, with three defensive central midfielders and one striker. I think we drew one and lost one. Both were absolutely frigging awful, negative, depressing afternoons.

    I rest my case, M'Lud.

Watford home and away, Huddersfield away, Birmingham at home, Leeds at home and Leicester at home are 6 games I was at last season that were infinitely worse than today.

But then again in the games above we weren't playing ******* S****horpe.

Got to say I felt sorry for Dudgeon as he got no cover whatsoever in front of him and Nyatanga wasn't great beside him. We were commenting on the lack of movement throughout the team and there was at least one incident when he had the ball, looked up, no movement, held his pass, looked up, again saw nine players just stood. It happened a few times to different players. Yesterday was abject, there is no other way to describe it but it wasn't the worst performance ever, there were several worse games as recently as last season.

It is a matter of opinion, and if yours differs to mine then so be it, but apart from the goal I didn't enjoy a single part of the game.

It was dross. I wish I could've left at halftime like countless others sat around me but I never ever would, can't stand people that do
