I listed to a podcast with a non league manager last night, was speaking predominantly about non league and leagues 1 and 2 however I think it will affect the championship too

he said he’s expecting a flood of players who are out of contract to be scrabbling around for a club with a massive slash in wages offered, primarily due to the fact that football clubs won’t have any money

Less sponsorship etc being a major factor

1 in 5 small business will go bust very soon, I’d expect a few football clubs to be in that pot too?
