assuming defeat tonight which is on the cards barring a miracle. 7 points from every 12 will do me until the season ends.
I was only joking I find it so fecking annoying that after every game, win or lose , one side or the other is gloating and the other side of the argument is spitting vitriol . Stupid !!!
I think you'll find there is no such thing as a Davey lover because the guy hasn't got the personality, charisma or relationship with the fans to engender that. However you might find that there are one or two who think he is steadily improving the team and should be left to continue to build.
RE: assuming defeat tonight Do you really think there is any chance of getting 21 points from the last 36 Can't see it myself
It is possible to like Davey and have constructive criticism against him. Like being too predictable in his formations, playing JCR everywhere apart from the wing.
knee jerk reactionaries we lose, therefore we are crap, therefore sack the manager. We win, we are still crap, therefore sack the manager. if we were in the top six we'd still have people wanting the manager sacked, becuase we don't play the style or system of play they like. You can't please all the people all the time
RE: assuming defeat tonight We dont need 21 though. We need about 12 or so. 4 points from every 12 will be enough. Tonights game, a tough away game, is not sending us down, plenty of winnable games left.
After the Charlton game it was the first time when I really thought he didn't know what he was doing I've always believed in giving the manager time to prove himself, but after that I started to question as to whether he had lost it. One week later he changed the formation and pulled out one of the best performances I've seen for a long time, square pegs, square holes. Then ADS gets injured and the formation had to change again...and bang !!!! I blame Dragon Tyke as he's there and therefore must be moaning too much !!!
Oh BTW I assume that none of the posters on here are at the game and therefore are basing their opinion on either the score or second hand via the Barnsley World commentry whichsometimesis at complete odds to what is actually happening.
Although I'mnot happy with the score Idon't feel I can pas an opinion on a game I can't see... just my way of looking at things.
