Selling the Glavin/Redders/Higgy of this decade for that amount or anywhere near it would be a great way to knacker the feel good factor. Reading between the lines of his article in the Chronicle last friday we need to go further up the table and show more ambition if we want him to sign back up. He's not getting in the ROI squad after cuts so needs to get higher in the league to give himself a better chance and constantly selling our best players and rebuilding is going to hamper that, which can't be helped because without doing so we will be running our business at a loss.

 

It would be

stupid IMHO worth more than that to keep him and help consolidate in the Championship

We'd have to be ******* mental to let him leave for 500k in Jan. Anyone who thinks otherwise, must have had a lobotomy.

And have you seen the state of the bloke who wrote that article? If he's got the inside track on Conor or BFC then I'll eat my hat. That website is tosh.

No less than 4 million for me. But with him being out of contract in the summer I'm not holding my breath

We will only get millions for him if he signs a new deal which I'm not too confident having read his interview. I expet him to leave in jan but hopefully a few clubs show their interest and a bidding war gets going and we get at least a million. If he does leave we should look again at cameron mcgeehan from Luton we had a bid rejected for him last window 8 goals in 17 games from midfield this season only 21 and out of contract in summer.... Hopefully connor signs a new deal and stays though.

Not a chance for 500 K. Why would we? The money won't buy us anyone in the same league as conor.
We've just got 12million ish, so why would we sell our best player for peanuts?
Half a million is worth it for half a season. Let him go and we risk getting relegated and wasting last year.

Why are people worried. He will most likely go on a free in summer or at best re-sign. Amazed at the number of people debating tabloid gossip as gospel.
