    rumbles in the depths of oakwell that Mr Agnew has been approached, hard to believe the info from a guy that's only got half dozen posts I know but just had an e mail from a close friend who is very....how can I put it, connected in football circles.

    Has he done anything worthwhile, would fans take to him, would it stabilise our gates, improve them.?
    Not sure, think how he used to play would reflect on his managerial style.

    Aaggy aaggy aaggy aaggy, good player was agnew and just like just like Nicky eaden ,he was another good home grown player who became a target for the boo boys.

    He's from Shipley, just up road from me. Might get a lift with him to games. :D

    He's only just become head coach at Boro though. Be surprised, but as I say, I'd take him.

    He's done a fair bit of coaching and been an assistant to a couple of decent clubs in Boro and Hull. Would probably fancy his chances in management, think he's been caretaker a few times at Boro. I reckon he's a better shout than a few names banded about.
