Agree, it's not allowed and the parents are responsible for their kids behaviour.

I do remember sitting on the wall at the front of the ponty end when I was a kid and the ball rolled over in my direction, I leapt off the wall ran towards the ball and cracked it straight into Clive Bakers hands. I was well chuffed. My dad leathered me as soon as I got back over the wall. :D

Well, I think it depends. If a parent encourages it" go up and ask Bamford for his shirt" then yes. If the kid runs on cos they're copying others then no. Legally as a parent you're not responsible if your kid breaks the law. They could ban the kids though I suppose.

Maybe parents should be responsible legally for what their kids get up to, then they may make their little darlings behave themselves instead of being little lovely people

Maybe, but that isn't the present legal position.

If we adopt the same rule I'm telling my bairn that the ref has £50 to give the first kid who gets to him at full time.

What about those parents who teach their kids right from wrong, yet they still get into trouble, sometimes it’s a 1 off, some are habitual offenders. Do those parents have to be punished?

If the kid isn’t with a parent at the match as many young teens are I can’t see how parents can be held responsible.
We can preach all we want to our kids but once they’re with their mates and peer pressure comes into things we can’t always guarantee they’ll do the right thing.
If the kid is at the match with a parent then yes, they should be held responsible.
