Wished we had him now.....................a sort of a pumped up steroid version of Sam Togwell but with better passing ability and also got a few goals as well. His last game v Chelseas is so sad.....we absolutely took the p out of them for 45 minutes, 3-0 up at half time when one of their players (Graham Roberts?) decided to exact retribution on Gwynn in the most sinister way possible. Never played again.

A definite disadvantage of being too young then.

T`was Roberts

Barsteward of the highest order.
To think he was an International as well.
Roberts was a thug who fitted in well when he went to Rangers.

I think it was a combination

Of Graham Roberts & Jim(?) McLaughlin, one of their centre halves, that did him.

Kind of sums up the player that he was. It took 2 thugs to take him out.

If it had happened in the town centre on Friday night

Roberts would have been looking at 12 months.

I remember punching Peter Nicholas at the next corner in retribution.

Actually it was Wood that did him...

And the lovely person used to play for wednesday that made it worse.

A lot thought it was Roberts but in truth it was Wood.

Woods owns 2 stalls on Barnsley market, deli stalls actually. Neither in his name interestingly.
Also 2 in Castleford market
