Who cares what he thinks?

Is his opinion the official supporters trust opinion? It certainly looks like it

If he wants to unite the fans

Danny Wilson would not be the right appointment

Also Alan seems to be living in the last century - not this one with those views.

Still Tony Adams would be great for uniting the fans .... for all the wrong reasons

i honestly dont understand why we should bring redfearn back even as a number 2, dont get me wrong he will always be a legend in most reds eyes but this call for him to come back in some managerial capacity in rediculous

He , like everyone else, is entitled to an opinion

He's chairman of the supporter's group and an obvious person to speak to about the current situation.

RE: Who cares what he thinks?

Alan is expressing his own views on who he would suggest for manager. I have my own views, but my choice is a pipedream in Mick McCarthey. He was not expressing the views of the Trust in who should be manager, and the trust has certainly not made any recommendations to the football club as to who should be manager. As he said, before any comments would be made to the club, there would be consultation across at least the trust board and if time permitted the membership, but this has not yet been condicted, partly as most of us are enjoying a bank holiday. That is what happens in a democratic organisation. However, I would not be surprised if when the board were consulted there were 12 different answers.

Like everyone on here, everybody has different views on the manager, some of the names mentioned fill me with dread, others are never going to happen this time (eg my choice).

As mentioned, as chair of the Trust Alan is bound to be asked for his views, much in the same way as I was asked by the beeb on saturday night for my views as vice chair, and I am sure others get asked for their views as well.

One thing though, who ever gets the job needs backing to the hilt by the fans to get us away from the foot of the table.

    No Thanks

We don't need to bring back legends who were good players. We need an experienced championship level boss who's achieved something.

The problem is owen that both your opinion the other night and Alans in the link above are given as the opinion of the trust. That might not be your intention but when they address you/him as alan bloore supporters trust chairman then it is giving an opinion in the capacity as trust chairman (and vice). especially when further down the article bloore specifically mentioned the demonstration not being organised by the trust that gives further weight to the fact that the rest of the information is trust based.

I just think that when not representing the trust then your positions within the trust should not be included, where they are included then it is speaking on behalf of the trust.

I also agree that whoever is given the job needs backing by all fans. I vote for R. Tiverton or Ronnie Jamal

    Why do you care?

You keep telling us you've got no interest in being involved in the trust. Make your mind up.

I'd quite like to see Wilson back. At least we'd see some attractive football.

    In 2 minds about Wilson...

had he gone to any other club other than Wednesday, would folk still be saying they wouldn't want him back?

Its like the Keegan/Newcastle affair. Wilson did something at this football club that was truely remarkable, but at the same time, i'd hate to see him come back and fail and ruin that incredible acheivement.

I just can't decide.... its one of those head/heart moments...

So will the Trust be consulted on the new manager ?

    Fck me ragged if so.

Let's have a divisive meeting at the East Dene to decide. Standing ovation for the new manager then sack him 10 minutes later.

    Toilet.

    Yeah

We're doing the first round of interviews on Wednesday. I'm thinking we need a coach who likes head tennis. That got us somewhere under Ritchie.

Jonny Coachman will be testing them on coaching technique.

We're hoping to get SuperTyke in to make the final overall decision to represent the glass is half empty supporter.

    It's going to be great.

Fans, whether official or not should be ignored on this matter.

Although I'd appoint Supertyke to the club then have his every fcking smallest move and decision held up to intense scrutiny.

    Lol

"he has won three relegation battles" kind of glosses over the fact that he got us into 2 of the feckers
