If we're lumping on ex fowls then could do worse, solid record at L1/ Champ level, out of work for a year since W.Brom, might fancy the challenge to make his name again. Might be a chance if PC hadn't shot his financial bolt wi LJ.
Yes I know it's more likely to be whoevers at Halifax, Gainsborough Trinity or Farsley :frown:

Barnsley aren't exactly an enticing proposition for any out of work manager at present and I'm sure word has got out about the set up at Oakwell, which will put plenty off.

Be a big bloody improvement on what we have right now. Just hope our next manager isn't one of these 'up and coming straight off a eufa course' head coach types and is more a proper football manager

Not saying he's anyone's ideal, but he's a realistic aim and throughout his career he's won more than he's lost, 1.4 points per game, and I'd bloody take that right now.

Would love Paul Scholes as a playing assistant to whoever took over if Johnson was sacked

If we sack Johnson we will go down 1 of 3 routes in my opinion.....

    1. Mark Cooper who was our number one choice last time round.

    2. Stuart Gray, been mentioned a few times already from "reliable sources"

    3. Mark Burton and Heckinbottom until the end of the season, and if they drive us up the table they will get another year.

Alan Irvine would be a brilliant appointment for the club considering the system we have in place but we haven't got rid of our manager yet!
