Every paper has the usual transfer rumours...mostly garbage..made up *****..when managers bite back at journo's..as in LVG..Then the knives start sharpening on Fleet Street.
Because I knew the details about Jacob's Derby transfer, that went on for a couple of weeks, I did find it amusing seeing Nixon's tweets about it every day which were very hit and miss. There isn't such a thing as a nailed on transfer, so people such as Alan and others who work for the red tops, they're going to get some right and some wrong. I think Alan is pretty well in with the establishment at Oakwell though, he knows his onions regards BFC. I can guarantee that when he's discussing players linked with clubs, that there's summat in it. He's not making it up. But, anything can derail a transfer from happening, which can then make the rumour monger look a tit. The worst sorts are those on twitter, normal lads in their bedroom pretending to be agents etc. Instead of having an ham shank. Like normal lads that age.
He knows much more than us. Only the other day he told us we were signing an highly rated premiership youngster on loan and then in came Fletcher.
