Not excusing the cretins who throw bottles or flares and the like but why do players do that? Going to the home fans making gestures when they’ve just scored is plain stupid. Celebrate with your team mates, not a hostile crowd. It happens everywhere and just proves how brainless some footballers really are.
Yeah it was a stupid thing to do. It's a shame for Helik that he bench warms in the important games and starts against the weaker nations. Being around that hostile atmosphere tonight will get him ready for Oakwell a week on Sunday.
