I'm just in the middle of reading Barry Ferguson's(Rangers) autobiography and he talks about watching Rangers as a kid mainly beause his brother played for them but his local side were Hamilton Accies and that he still goes to watch them when he can. He goes on about a guy called Alex Neil who plays in midfield and that he's very good to watch and a proper player always looking for the right pass. He also says he is top drawer and worth the admission fee alone!
Having read that i've just been on the club website and he's the club captain and getting married tomorrow apparently!
    Well done Alex and congratulations!

He's from Bellshill originally(which is a shithole). He's now living back there whilst playing for our beloved Accies.

Oh, and be careful when you say Hamilton Accies, it's rhyming slang for something!!

Remember him scoring a great header against Preston with a broken nose!

To be fair his midfield "partner" Gary Jones made Neil look like Cruyff. A shorter Cruyff.

    A Crf

but I know what you mean, although at Stockport away at Christmas I confidently predicted we "at last, had found Redfearns replacement"

    Gary Jones, Neil Refearn.

At least now they have been mention in the same breath. As good as it got Gaz.

He plays for Hamilton and scored and grand total of no goals last season
