Apologies if already posted @Transfer_News24: Barnsley are hoping to sign Reading striker Adam Le Fondre on loan. #barnsleyfc #readingfc
That account is always getting abuse for talking b*llocks but can't see this being true for a number of reasons.
Moved his family up to Lytham at the start of the season. Has had 2 offers to return up north (Championship clubs). Blackpool aren't one of them. Le Fondre started for Reading yesterday so it would be a strange decision if they let him go out on loan. Personally, if it was me, I would stay at Reading.
I would have thought he'd be very much in Reading's plans, but if he wants to come to us he'd be very welcome I'm sure! Wasn't he the most prolific goalscorer in the premier league last season on a goal to game-time basis?
Aye, it's just a name I've heard mentioned a fair bit by certain folk who usually know their apples. I'd also heard previous to that that he wanted a northern club, but as ryhill points out, he usually ends up with Holloway so who knows? I saw him a few times at Palace last season and he seemed more of a 'number 10' to me, not an out and out striker. Good feet though, and great strike on him. We'll see I suppose. Can't for the life of me see Le Fondre coming here. It doesn't add up on even my most biased and optimistic calculator.

As daft as it sounds if he wants to go out on loan is options are limited because Reading won't let him go to a club where he can do them damage and stop them getting a play off place, and i can't see him getting a premier league club so that don't leave him many clubs to move to really so it might not be as far fetched as it first sounds,
